Spark your child’s curiosity and creativity with hands-on classes that explore the world of food and inspire a lifelong love of healthy cooking and eating.

Get ready for your child to discover the joy of cooking and the wonder of fresh food! In this interactive six-week series, students will gain a foundational understanding of how food is grown, prepared, and enjoyed. Through hands-on activities, they’ll build confidence, creativity, and a healthy relationship with food while exploring new flavors and techniques. These classes encourage kids to connect with the garden and kitchen, spark curiosity, and bring their skills and knowledge home!

Kitchen House Academy

Young chefs will experience the full cycle of food in this four-week series, harvesting fresh plants from the ground and enjoying them on their plate. A hands-on approach fosters confidence in the kitchen and an appreciation for seasonal ingredients.

Meet your Culinary Educator, Jenna Foor

Jenna Foor is a Florida native with 25 years experience working in the food service industry. She has a degree in culinary arts and is the owner/operator of a small urban farm in Winter Park, Florida that also sells baked goods made with organic, local ingredients. She believes that sustainable, regenerative agriculture is attainable in an urban setting and that anyone can grow their own food in one form or another with very low cost. Having two toddlers, Jenna realized how important it is for children to know where their food comes from and how essential it is for them to learn healthy eating habits from a young age.
