Step into a storybook supper with this fantasy-inspired evening at The Kitchen House! In this class, families will work together to prepare hearty, wholesome recipes inspired by The Lord of the Rings and other favorite fantasy worlds. From garden-fresh ingredients to cozy comfort food worthy of the Shire, this magical meal celebrates the bounty of the season and the joy of sharing it together. Whether you’re a wizard in the kitchen or just beginning your quest, this hands-on class invites the whole family to cook, learn, and grow together.
Meet your Culinary Educator, Chef Sarah Bousfield
Sarah Bousfield first learned how to bake on a 1882 wood burning stove at her local living history museum while working as a historical interpreter. Over the past 12 years she has travelled the world cooking at archaeological sites and museums, bringing to life prehistoric and historic recipes. Sarah is a current MA Public History graduate student at the University of Central Florida where she continues her love of foodways through research on the Industrial Revolution and its impacts on kitchen technology.

I understand that The Kitchen House will not disclose names, identities, or personal information of any kind in association with the images. I give permission to use attendees' photographs.

I understand I am attending this class at my own risk and release The Kitchen House from liability from damages arising from personal injury on or about the premises.
If student is under 18, I give permission for my child to attend this class and accept the inherent risks of cooking and gardening and release The Kitchen House from liability from damages arising from personal injury on or about the premises.
Class Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the class date to be eligible for a refund. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within two weeks of the scheduled class.
If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment of 10 participants by the registration close date, The Kitchen House reserves the right to cancel the class. In this case, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
