Family Night: Addams Family Night

  • The Kitchen House 26 East King Street Orlando, FL, 32804 United States (map)

Bring the whole family together for a hands-on culinary and garden adventure, with seasonal themes that foster connection across generations and skills you can enjoy together at home.

Discover the joy of cooking and connecting as a family! Family Night offers a fun and interactive evening where generations come together to explore the journey from garden to table. Each season brings a new theme, focusing on incorporating healthy, whole foods and adding more plants to your plate. Parents and kids alike will enjoy learning creative ways to make nutritious meals delicious and exciting. Build lasting bonds, laugh together, and equip your family with skills to bring healthy habits and joyful memories home.

Addams Family Night

They’re creepy, they’re kooky, and they’re coming over for dinner! Join us for a frightfully fun evening in the kitchen as we whip up a spooky spread inspired by The Addams Family. Families will team up to prepare eerie (but delicious!) plant-forward dishes with just the right touch of mystery for October. From haunted harvest ingredients to ghoulishly good flavors, this hands-on class is perfect for grownups and their little monsters.

Meet your Culinary Educator, Chef Sarah Bousfield

Sarah Bousfield first learned how to bake on a 1882 wood burning stove at her local living history museum while working as a historical interpreter. Over the past 12 years she has travelled the world cooking at archaeological sites and museums, bringing to life prehistoric and historic recipes. Sarah is a current MA Public History graduate student at the University of Central Florida where she continues her love of foodways through research on the Industrial Revolution and its impacts on kitchen technology.
