Start small, grow big—Simple Starts makes it easy to bring fresh, homegrown flavors into your life, no garden required.
You don’t need a big backyard or a green thumb to start growing fresh ingredients at home. Simple Starts is designed for anyone looking to take the first step in growing their own food—whether it’s herbs on a windowsill, edible flowers in a pot, or sprouts on a kitchen counter. With easy, approachable techniques, you’ll gain the confidence to grow something fresh, no matter your space or experience level. Because every Simple Start leads to something bigger.
This June, we’re learning how to make the herbs you buy at the store last forever! Learn easy techniques to propagate herbs, taste them in a lite-bite crafted by our chef, and leave with a pot of herbs you started yourself.
This interactive workshop will be led by one of our Culinary Educators, Dr. Laura Varich. She went from Radiologist to Lifestyle Medicine Physician when she discovered the immense power of food for preventing disease and protecting our health. She is passionate about sharing evidence-based information to propel you to your best health.
**Please be aware, no refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of the class date. If the class does not reach the minimum number of students (10) by registration close date, subject to cancellation by EEE with full refund.
**This is a fully vegetarian-friendly class which may use dairy and gluten. Please list any food allergies in the checkout form.
