Culinary Curiosities - Plant-Powered Mocktails

6:00PM-8:00PM | Monday, April 21st, 2025 at Edible Education Experience 26 E King St. Orlando, FL 32804

$70/adult (18+ years old)

Awaken your inner chef and transform the way you think about food in our monthly workshops, crafted for the culinarily curious.

From bold global flavors to creative twists on everyday meals, each session invites you to experiment with vibrant fruits and vegetables, explore new techniques, and embrace recipes that fit every table and lifestyle. With hands-on guidance and plenty of inspiration, you’ll leave ready to add a pinch of creativity and a dash of adventure to your kitchen.

This month, learn how to create delicious, alcohol-free beverages using fresh, plant-based ingredients. Craft a mocktail menu with sustainability in mind!

Meet our guest educator, Charlie Straker.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Charlie has called Orlando home for the past 17 years. His culinary journey began at Le Cordon Bleu, where he earned a diploma in culinary arts. After sharpening his skills in some of Orlando’s beloved kitchens, including The Capital Grille, Yellow Dog Eats, and The Osprey, he found a new creative outlet behind the bar.

Inspired by the bold flavors and playful techniques of Tiki cocktails at Aku-Aku, he transitioned fully into the world of mixology. Today, he brings a creative spirit and a deep curiosity for transforming ingredients in unexpected ways to The Guesthouse and Sunroom—two of Orlando’s favorite neighborhood spots—where he’s not only crafting cocktails, but also making customized ice, experimenting with ingredients, and managing daily operations. With a foot in both the culinary and cocktail worlds, Charlie continues to blur the lines between kitchen and bar—driven by innovation, guided by taste, and inspired by the endless possibilities of flavor.

**Please be aware, no refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of the class date. If the class does not reach the minimum number of students (10) by registration close date, subject to cancellation by EEE with full refund.
