Culinary Curiosities: Filipino Desserts

  • The Kitchen House 26 East King Street Orlando, FL, 32804 United States (map)

Awaken your inner chef and transform the way you think about food in our monthly workshops, crafted for the culinary curious.

From bold global flavors to creative twists on everyday meals, each session invites you to experiment with vibrant fruits and vegetables, explore new techniques, and embrace recipes that fit every table and lifestyle. With hands-on guidance and plenty of inspiration, you’ll leave ready to add a pinch of creativity and a dash of adventure to your kitchen.

Filipino Desserts

Get ready to scoop and layer your way through a deliciously fun halo-halo adventure! In this hands-on culinary class, you’ll learn the art of layering crushed ice, jellies, leche flan, and ube for the ultimate Filipino treat. We’ll dive into the cultural roots of this vibrant dessert while playing with texture, flavor, and color. Whether you're a dessert lover or just here for the ube, there's something exciting (and tasty) for everyone.

Dairy and dairy free/vegan options available.
