A Taste of Mexico
This month, we’re taking a trip to Mexico to learn all about the traditional cuisine. Students will dive into food history and cook a full seasonal meal highlighting the whole food ingredients that make Mexican food so delicious.
Meet your educator, Sarah Bousfield
Sarah Bousfield first learned how to bake on a 1882 wood burning stove at her local living history museum while working as a historical interpreter. Over the past 12 years she has travelled the world cooking at archaeological sites and museums, bringing to life prehistoric and historic recipes. Sarah is a current MA Public History graduate student at the University of Central Florida where she continues her love of foodways through research on the Industrial Revolution and its impacts on kitchen technology.
